Dig Deep is an award-winning charity founded in 2007 by a collaboration between Kenyan women's rights activist and UN Person of the Year, Agnes Pareyo, and our founders Jo and Pete.

Agnes helped Jo and Pete to set up strong local working relationships, which resulted in our first two water projects. Since then we have continued to collaborate with the Kenyan government, local businesses, and communities, to transform the provision of clean water, sanitation, and good hygiene.

We partner directly with the County Government of Bomet.

Together with our government partners, we have developed a roadmap for achieving universal water, sanitation, and hygiene access for the 1 million residents of the county.

To achieve this, we are currently delivering on our 2022-27 Memorandum of Understanding which commits the county government and Dig Deep to co-funding and delivering this plan.
